Fender Japan Paisley Telecaster partial refret and a setup/service

This early reissue Tele has been a favourite and was brought in for a partial refret. The first 7 frets were removed, the fretboard sanded, the slots cleaned and re-cut. The new fret wire was shaped, cut, tapped into place then seated. The fretboard was levelled and the frets crowned.

We then set it up and serviced the electrics. It is now ready to work again and awaits collection.

The Prs has had a tremol-no fitted and a set up.

Refinish on a custom LP fanned fret guitar

The owner of this fanned fret Junior decided to strip the gold paint ready for a refinish in Candy Apple Red.  Purfling and binding has been added to the front body edge. The guitar was masked up and the front primed. Once dry it will be rubbed down ready for the colour coat.

Framus acoustic, headstock refinish

The headstock on this lovely old Framus acoustic had been overpainted with very thick, soft varnish. The owner rubbed it down and unfortunately rubbed through the brass inlaid logo damaging the bottom section of the "F".

We carefully filled the dip with lacquer and levelled the area.

A piece of gold colour matched waterslide decal was prepared and fitted to the missing letter section.

The entire headstock has been finished in light tinted nitro cellulose for an invisible repair.
