Hohner Jack bass makeover

This Jack bass came in for a complete makeover which included stripping and refinishing in Arctic white nitro with the thru neck and body centre stained as a feature. We added the band logo as custom made waterslide decals beneath the final clear coats. A service to the electrics and full set up completed the work.

Gretsch headstock break

This Lovely Gretsch Rancher had suffered a severe break. Once we'd cleaned up the break and glued the headstock back on we routed to add some strong maple reinforcing tongues. The area was then smoothed with filler paste and painted in a gradated tint followed by top gloss on the entire neck back. We completed the work with a full set up and srvice before returning it to our customer.

Nuts and saddles!

This well loved Levin LM26 was suffering from bad fret rattle due to the action being too low, so we made a new intonated bone saddle set up for a left handed player. The Gibson Artisan was in need of a new nut, so we hand carved one from bone.

Gibson ES335 1967

The finish had been stripped from the front of this 335 many years ago and the top veneer had been sanded through. The owner decided it was time to have the burst reapplied. After disassembly and prepping the front, we applied nitro burst to match the existing finish still present on the back. The burst line was tailored to hide the damaged veneer.

TV Jones Setzer signature pickups

This Gretsch 6120 and Gretsch jet came in to be fitted with fabulous TV jone Brian Setzer signature pickups.....what an awesome sound! We were also asked to pin the bridge on the 6120 too, to keep it stable. We fitted invisible locating pins. Both were then treated to our comprehensive 10 point set up.
